If I'm Not Back passes and prices
The four passes, paid once or renewing by themselves: which one fits your rhythm, how to extend or stop it, and what happens when it runs out.

If I'm Not Back is paid with a pass. A pass is a stretch of time we keep watching. You pay for it once, or let it renew by itself until you stop it.
| Pass | Price | Made for |
|---|---|---|
| 1 month | $20 | A trip or a short time away |
| 3 months | $40 | A season, a long journey or a recovery |
| 1 year | $50 | A whole year, checked on your rhythm |
| Lifetime | $99 | Watched for 50 years, for rhythms of a month or more |
Which pass fits your rhythm
A pass must cover at least one whole check-in. Under Choose your pass, a pass that is too short for your rhythm is greyed out with the reason, and the one we suggest is marked Recommended.
- 1 month fits a rhythm of a month or less
- 3 months fits a rhythm of up to three months
- 1 year fits a rhythm of up to a year
- Lifetime fits a rhythm of a month or more, up to five years
Once you have a pass, rhythms longer than it covers are greyed out under When. A longer pass opens them.
Extend a pass
Press Extend on your page and choose a pass. Its time is added after the time you already have, so extending early loses nothing. We email you 7 days and 1 day before a pass ends.
Pay once or renew automatically
Above the passes, choose Pay once or Renew automatically. Paid once, a pass ends when its time is up, and nothing more is charged. Renewing, the 1 month, 3 months and 1 year passes are charged again at the same price at the end of each period, so your letters stay watched without a break. Lifetime is always paid once.
- We email you a week before each renewal, with the date and how to stop it.
- Press Stop renewing on your page to stop it at any time. Nothing more is charged, and the time already paid still counts.
- If a renewal cannot be paid, your page says so and the payment is tried again. Your plan keeps watching, and when the time paid runs out it behaves like any pass that runs out.
- When a plan ends, is cancelled or has delivered its letters, its renewing stops by itself.
When a pass runs out
A pass that runs out never sends anything, and it never stops a plan by itself either: the person who would renew it may be the reason nobody did. Your plan keeps watching.
- If you check in more than 30 days after the end, your plan stops. Your page and an email tell you so. Your letters are kept, and nothing is watched or sent.
- If a check-in is missed after the end, the chain runs as usual, with an extra check and another try to reach you before anything can be sent.
A plan that stopped this way can be opened again. Press Set up this plan again on your page. Your letters, people and settings are all still there, and nothing is sent. Choose a new pass and start it when you are ready.
A new plan after one is over
After you cancel a plan, or after its letters were delivered, press Start a new plan on your page to begin a new one. If your pass still has time left, the new plan uses it. A pass is paid only once.
Cancelling a plan deletes its letters, its files and its trusted people. The time left on your pass is kept for a new plan.
A payment can arrive after a plan is over, for example from an old payment page that was left open. If the pass fits the plan you use now, it goes there. If not, it is refunded in full, and we email you about it.
Paying
Payment is made by card. Each pass comes with an invoice, which you find with your other invoices under Billing. See invoices and payment for payment questions.
