How long an album is kept
An opened event album stays open for a number of days that depends on its size, counted from its last opening, and is then deleted completely. What you can delete yourself, and when.

An event album is not kept forever. Once it has opened it stays open for the days of its size, and then it is deleted with everything in it. Save what you want to keep before that day.
How long an album stays open
| Size | Stays open |
|---|---|
| Try it | 30 days |
| Party | 183 days |
| Big event | 365 days |
| Wedding | 365 days |
- The days count from the last opening. For most albums that is the moment the photos open.
- With Open a year later, the last opening is the day the messages open. The photos stay open during that whole year, and then for the days of the size.
- Open the album now starts the count at that moment.
- Moving to a larger size gives the album the days of the new size, counted the same way.
- The last day is shown under Open until on the event page, and on the album next to the number of photos.
When the album closes
- When its time runs out, on its last day at the time of day it opened, the link and the code show This album is closed. Nobody can look at the album, add to it or download from it any more, you included.
- The clean-up that runs every hour then deletes the album for good: every photo, video and message, the names and email addresses the guests left, and the invitations. The event goes from your Events page.
Delete an event
You can delete an event yourself at any time, sealed or open. Open Events, press Manage on the event, press Delete event at the bottom of its page and confirm with Delete. The link stops working at once, and every photo, video and message is removed for good, with what the guests left. Deleting an event does not give back a payment for a larger size.
Take out one photo or message
Once the album is open, open a photo or video while you are signed in and press Remove, or press Remove next to a message. It is removed for everyone and cannot be brought back. While the album is sealed you see nothing of it, so nothing can be taken out before it opens.
If you delete your account
Deleting your account deletes every event you created, sealed or open, with all photos, videos and messages in them, and the links stop working. Delete your account describes the deletion. The data export of your account lists your events by name and dates only, without the photos and videos.
