Questions people ask
Do guests need an app or an account?
No. The code opens a page in the browser of the phone. Guests take photos, pick them from their phone or record a short video, and that is all. A name and an email address are optional.
Can I see the photos before the album opens?
No, and neither can anyone else. While the album is sealed you see how many photos, videos, guests and messages have come in, not a single picture. Every guest sees only what they added themselves.
When does the album open?
At the day and time you choose, for everyone at once, by the clock. A free album can open up to 7 days ahead, a Party album up to 92 days, a Big event album up to 366 days. You can also open it early with one press.
What does it cost?
An album of up to 20 photos and videos is free. A larger album is one payment for the event: $19 for Party and $49 for Big event. There is no subscription, and you can start free and pay the difference later.
How long does the album stay open?
An opened album stays open for 30 days on the free size, 183 days on Party and 365 days on Big event, and is then deleted with everything in it. You get an email before that day, so you can save what you want to keep.
Can guests add videos?
Yes, short ones: up to 10 seconds on the free album, 30 seconds on Party and 60 seconds on Big event. Guests can also write or record a message, if you switch messages on.
Can a guest leave a message by phone?
Yes. The guest page has Call me: we call the number the guest types, and they speak after the tone, up to two minutes. Anyone can also call the number on the poster and key the event code, from a landline too. Phone messages are sealed with the others.
Can I download everything?
Every photo and video can be saved one by one. On Party and Big event the whole album also comes as one ZIP file.
Who can see the album?
Whoever has the link or the code. It is never public and never listed anywhere. For a closed circle, ask people by email: each gets a link of their own, and only they can add.
Can it be a surprise?
Yes. Choose A surprise for someone when you create the event. Guests add in secret, and the person gets the album by email at the moment you choose, never before it opens.
